A.F.S. Service

 

 

Auxiliary Fire Service training follows the Fire Services Council recruit firefighters syllabus.Training sessions comprise a mix of standard drills from the manual along with equipment familiarisation, theory lessons and practical exercises. Laois AFS training takes place at Sub County No. 3 Base in Durrow on alternate Sunday mornings.

 

Training with a combined spray/jet branch.
